Created in April 2020, the Accor All Heartist fund aims to take care of people (individuals, not corporation nor businesses) who are in distress due to Covid-19 multiple impacts, both personal and professional.

Thanks From Iso was an exhibition of artistic creations and letters of gratitude from guests in Accor isolation hotels, along works by artist Ruby Jones.

NH RESPONSE

In April 2020 NH Hotel Group launched NH Response, a series of initiative to help governments, health authorities and social organizations deal with the crisis.

 Year of the Veg

On 1 October 2020, we launched the “Year of the Veg” – becoming the first hotel group to go completely vegetarian across all its restaurants, bars, and food services for an entire year. Inspired to act on climate change and environmental conservation, we decided to phase out meat to focus on creating compelling plant-based cuisine instead.

Room Mate Hotels, first hotel chain to provide free COVID-19 tests

Room Mate Hotels has been the first hotel chain in the world to offer free antigen tests for its clients and employees, in collaboration with Quirónprevención, an occupational risk prevention company. Upon the arrival of clients to the hotels, registered nurses performed rapid antigen tests at check-in. In addition, an additional service to monitor their symptoms was offered through a mobile application that they could access during their stay.

Sun Children Cancer Fund

One of the main pillars of our overarching sustainability principle is Community Engagement. In this light, we have designed a programme that builds on the philanthropic and children-focused commitment established in 2004 by our Group: Children at Heart. We believe the path out of poverty begins with equality for all—basic human rights, great education, adequate healthcare. Each of our hotels plays a part in the everyday lives of their neighbouring communities by collaborating with nonprofit partners to support the next generation. Sun Resorts has been the main support and founder of the Sun Children Cancer Fund.

Meals to Smiles

IHCL put in every ounce of energy into supporting the nation’s COVID warriors through meals to smile program and delivered 4.5 million meals across 38 locations.

Taj for Family

Through Taj for family, IHCL has positively impacted 7,000+ lives across locations India. The program has offered support to marginalized workers of the hospitality.

Bath Amenities donation

At the Hotel Alfonso XIII, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Seville, Spain we always have in mind those in need. For that reason, we are all aware that with our daily work we can manage to make many people happy and what is more, healthy. We are proud to see how our bath amenities can have a second life and above all, how they can change other people's lives too.

Giving Bag 

During the pandemic, the Westin Excelsior Rome made a tangible contribution to the local community by embracing the culture of giving back.
