1Check awarded the Prize for Most Innovative Startup 2016

At the Global Lodging Forum 2016, held on March 21-22, 2016 in the rooms at the Pullman Paris Montparnasse, 1Check was singled out for the originality of its approach, the development of the hotel activity that it makes possible and its growth potential.

Designed by Virginie Lafon, Meilleur Ouvrier de France and the Head of Housekeeping at Nice's Hotel Negresco, 1Check's multi-site cloud solution uses a mobile application and back office that make it possible to digitize all daily operations tied to accommodations management: management of rooms and public spaces, real-time information and location-tracking of housekeeping personnel, dynamic management and follow through on incidents by maintenance services, or preventive maintenance.

The two other finalists that drew the attention of voters and the jury were My Travel Mate, a web platform that allows receptionists and hotel concierges to order priority access tickets to the main attractions in their local neighbourhood, and eJOBBER, a platform used by businesses in the catering, hotel and tourist industries to hire local available "jobbers" anytime.

The award for innovation is new at Hospitality ON and was presented at this 20th edition of the Global Lodging Forum to promote the innovative offer of startups in tourism and the hotel industry, and their capacity to contribute to improved hotel results and the simplification of operations. The 16 start-ups present in the dedicated exhibition area at the event presented their offer to participants. The laureate and finalists were elected through online voting by readers of Hospitality ON, and through scoring according to objective criteria established by the Hospitality ON jury consisting of key industry professionals.
