Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the plan to open a joint Hyatt Centric and Hyatt House Hotels property in Kanazawa, on the northern coast of Japan.

The joint Hyatt Centric and Hyatt House Hotels are due to open in 2020 in separate towers of a two-tower development. The property will be the first Hyatt House hotel to open in Japan. The Hyatt House hotel will consist of 90 apartment style suites containing a kitchen, dining table, sofa, and washing machine and other amenities for long term guests, including a restaurant, gym and business centre. The Hyatt Centric Hotel - the second in Japan - will have 250 rooms, restaurant, rooftop bar and meeting facilities.

The property will be positioned a short distance from one of the main stops on a new ‘bullet train’ line, providing easy access to some of the country’s most prestigious landmarks.
