Sofitel Thalassa France announced the appointment of Loic Fauchille to the position of Vice President of Operations for Sofitel in Southern Europe

In addition to his current responsibilities, Loic will oversee the three Sofitel-Thalassas located in France (Porticcio, Quiberon and Biarritz).

Loic joined the Accor Group as a General Manager in 1985 taking his first international assignment in Burundi in 1990. Back in France in 1993, Loic took over as General Manager of the Atria operation in Marne la Vallée. In 1999, Loic went back to Africa where he managed the El Mansour Eddhabi complex in Marrakech before being entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating sales and opperations for Accor Morocco.This nomination will be effective 1 July 2011.In 2002, Loic was back in France and was appointed General Manager of the Sofitel - Marseille Vieux Port. He was promoted in 2009 to the position of Area General Manager, overseeing the Marseille, Lyon, Lisbon, Algiers, Rome, and Athens Sofitel properties.This nomination will be effective 1 July 2011.
