The French group, founded in 2014, has recruited Mazen Kais as group technical director.
Mazen has a strong background in technical services. In a 20-year career, he reached the position of technical director at Ken Group in January 2016. Mazen Kais holds a BTS in Industrial Maintenance from Toulouse and a Technical Degree in Hydraulic and Pneumatic Mechanics from Beirut. He joined the Evok Group in January 2023 in order to meet the needs for the creation of new addresses and to follow the 6 addresses currently open.
Evok is indeed expanding in Europe with the opening of a Nolinski property in Venice in 2023 and two Brach in Madrid in 2024 and Rome in 2025.
The French group places part of its value creation in the development of its own projects, as Romain Yzerman and Emmanuel Sauvage, its co-founders with Pierre Bastid, explained at the Hospitality Asset Forum. It now also offers third-party management services.
Emmanuel Sauvage pays particular attention to the management of the 6 addresses to ensure a memorable customer experience in line with the strong identity of the Evok Collection properties. This focus is all the more important after Covid 19, where customers are increasingly demanding and employees are also looking for meaning.
In its communication, the group emphasises: "Evok's ambition is to be a player in civil society: to help the men and women who make up its teams to grow, to pass on know-how and soft skills, to give impetus, and to progress towards a more environmentally friendly future. It is a way of giving back, of sharing successes and of making connecting channels work within the framework of a company project that goes well beyond the framework."
