Kerzner International announces changes in the group
Since 2018, Michael Wale, Chief Executive Officer, has been invited to join the Board of Directors of Kerzner International.
He had a significant impact on the strategic development of the current portfolio while he was at the top of the company. He has also improved the engagement of associates for the company and created a flourishing culture of continuous development for tomorrow's leaders.
Michael Wale will become a member of the Board of Directors at the end of September.
Philippe Zuber, currently Chief Operating Officer, will replace Michael Wale and will therefore lead the company as Chief Executive Officer.
When he joined the company in 2015 as President and COO of One&Only, he successfully launched its development beyond Beach Resorts to include Nature Resorts, Urban Resorts and One&Only Private Homes.
Philippe Zuber has also focused on developing the portfolio's F&B concepts, inaugurating new dining and entertainment experiences depending on the destination and forging partnerships with world-renowned chefs.
Finally, Michel Checoury, who has held the position of Chief Financial Officer since 2018, will add the position of Chief Administrative Officer to his current position.
In addition to overseeing finance, Michel Checoury will manage development, technical services, information technology and the legal department, under the direct responsibility of Philippe Zuber.
