Sonder Holdings Inc. has continued its growth in the EMEA region with the addition of five new properties in France, Italy, and Spain. The hospitality company’s portfolio now stands at 59 assets.
France
Quintinie joined Sonder’s three other Parisian properties when it opened its doors last June. It stands in the 15th arrondissement near to the much-visited Montparnasse area.
The company also grew its footprint in the southern city of Nice. Yelo Promenade opened in June and its central location offers easy access to the Promenade des Anglais.
Italy
A serviced apartment property for short-term stays named Atelier recently welcomed its first clients in Milan. Its amenities include a fitness room, a courtyard garden, and a private car park.
In the Italian capital, Antinoo offers guestrooms and serviced apartments capable of accommodating up to eight guests for short-term stays. Several of the units boast private outdoor spaces. It is situated in the centre of Rome, near to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain.
Spain
Los Arcos opened in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona and brings Sonder’s portfolio in the Catalan city to seven properties. It, too, provides guestrooms and extended stay serviced apartments. The establishment lies just off Las Ramblas and also boasts a rooftop terrace.
The additions follow a positive Q1 2023 for Sonder. The hospitality company reported 50% year-over-year revenue growth during the period. It operates in over 40 markets across ten countries and has approximately 18,200 live and contracted units.
