The Radisson brand has announced the opening of its first property in the Polish port city of Gdańsk. The news brings Radisson Hotel Group’s portfolio up to 22 properties in operation and under development in the country.
Radisson RED Gdańsk boasts 30 guestrooms and suites, some featuring a mezzanine level with an extra bed, as well as one- and two-bedroom suites of up to 50 m². Its F&B offer consists of the Whiskey in the Jar steakhouse and a snack bar for guests on the go. One of four Radisson properties in the city, guests at Radisson RED Gdańsk are permitted to use the nearby Radisson Hotel & Suites Gdańsk’s restaurant, bar and health centre.
Located in a reconstructed port warehouse on Granary Island, the hotel offers views over the Motława River as well as Gdańsk’s city centre. Its interior design pays homage to the building’s history and location. A newly installed footbridge allows guests easily to get across from the island to the Main City.
This new property is a unique place, full of energy, design, and style. We look forward to welcoming guests and introducing them to Granary Island’s rich, interesting history and the vibrant atmosphere of Radisson RED’s fashionable urban life.
Maciej Głownia, General Manager of Radisson RED Gdańsk
