Radisson Hotel Group is expanding its presence in the Middle East, reinforcing its position as a key player in the region's hospitality sector. Currently operating 58 hotels and serviced apartments, with an additional 30 properties in development, the group is actively growing its portfolio in major markets such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the Levant.

Saudi Arabia is a primary focus for Radisson’s expansion strategy, with the goal of operating 100 hotels in the Kingdom by 2030. The group already manages 29 hotels, with 17 more in development. Recent signings include new properties in Al Ahsa, Hail, and Madinah, as well as a third Radisson Collection hotel in Riyadh. These projects align with Saudi Vision 2030, aimed at diversifying the economy and boosting tourism, supporting the Kingdom's long-term growth goals.

“The Middle East remains a key focus for Radisson Hotel Group with almost 90 hotels open or under construction. We thank our partners and owners for their continued trust in our 10 relevant brands and we look forward to further forging strong partnerships and creating a positive impact in the communities we serve," - Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group.

Radisson is also making strides in Jordan, with the planned openings of Radisson Collection Residence Amman Abdoun and Radisson RED Amman Downtown by 2028. These new properties will add to the group’s portfolio in the Levant, further expanding its reach in the region and offering luxury and lifestyle experiences for business and leisure travelers alike.

Oman is another area of focus, with Radisson recently opening Levatio Suites Muscat and Radisson Muscat Panorama, bringing the total number of Radisson properties in the country to 12. Levatio Suites Muscat, a Radisson Individuals property, offers 134 modern suites, while Radisson Muscat Panorama provides a premium experience in the heart of the capital, offering easy access to local attractions.

In Makkah, the group has strengthened its presence with the openings of Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Thakher Alsharqi and Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Thakher Algharbi. These hotels are located within the large-scale Thakher Makkah project, which aims to accommodate millions of pilgrims annually as part of Saudi Vision 2030. The project is set to play a significant role in enhancing the city’s hospitality infrastructure.

To support its ambitious growth, Radisson has appointed Ayman Ezzeddine as Director of Development for the Middle East, North-East Africa, and Pakistan. With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, Ayman’s leadership will play a key role in driving Radisson’s expansion in strategic markets like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, and Pakistan.

"We are proud to contribute to the region’s economic diversification and to deliver hospitality experiences that align with the aspirations of both our investors as well as our guests. We are thrilled to welcome Ayman to the team to help drive our growth, and by expanding our portfolio and strengthening partnerships, we’re creating long-term value for our stakeholders while leading the way in sustainability and innovation across the Middle East," - Elie Milky, Vice President of Development, Middle East, Greece, Cyprus, and Pakistan, Radisson Hotel Group.

Radisson Hotel Group’s expansion in the Middle East is part of its global growth strategy, focusing on both luxury and midscale segments. The introduction of lifestyle brands such as art'otel and the rebranding of Prize by Radisson reflect the group’s commitment to offering a diverse range of hospitality experiences. The continued development of its portfolio underscores Radisson’s ambition to meet the evolving needs of travelers across the region.
