After more than 20 years of PPHE being the master franchisee of RHG’s Park Plaza brand in EMEA, the two groups have extended their longstanding collaboration. Together, they will develop a portfolio of premium lifestyle art’otels and collaborate on growth opportunities for Radisson brands.
Radisson Hotel Group and PPHE Hotel Group have signalled their intent to develop art’otels, a premium brand of upscale lifestyle hotels, in key gateway cities and with select owners. Several hotels are in the planning to grow the brand’s current offering. Openings are forecast for Zagreb, Pula and Rome in 2022 and 2023. Additionally, in the UK an art’otel London Battersea Power Station and a €350 million art’otel London Hoxton are set for 2022 and 2024 respectively.
Croatia, as well as Central and Eastern Europe have been targeted as zones of growth by Radisson Hotel Group. The group has entered into a development agreement with PPHE to grow its portfolio of brands across the continent. A first hotel has been announced under this extended partnership: Grand Hotel Brioni Pula, A Radisson Collection Hotel. Consisting of a €35 million repositioning of Croatia’s famous Hotel Brioni, the new hotel will formally open in May 2022.
Today marks the next chapter in the success of our company with our lifestyle art’otel brand complementing Radisson Hotel Group’s portfolio of brands and joint growth ambitions.

We are thrilled to expand our relationship with PPHE and further support the growth and evolution of art’otel internationally. We are equally excited to grow the Radisson Hotel Group brands across Europe with our trusted partner with the launch of the first Radisson Collection in Croatia.
