The Modern Times Hotel in Vevey has officially joined Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, marking the brand’s first hotel in Switzerland. Now known as "Modern Times Hotel, Vevey, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel," the property continues to be managed by the RIMC International Hotels & Resorts Group.

Opened in 2016, the Modern Times Hotel is located on Lake Geneva and is now part of the Tribute Portfolio, which brings additional benefits through Marriott Bonvoy. This affiliation aims to enhance the guest experience while maintaining the hotel’s character.

The hotel features 136 rooms and junior suites, designed with contemporary furnishings and a color scheme inspired by the local landscape. Its facilities include conference rooms, lounges, and a Mediterranean garden. The Times Grill Restaurant offers a range of grill cuisine and fine wines, focusing on seasonal and local ingredients.

The Modern Times Hotel is committed to sustainability, holding Green Sign Hotel (Level 4) and Swisstainable (Leading) certifications. It incorporates energy-efficient systems and eco-friendly practices into its operations.

Located near the Lavaux vineyards, Chaplin's World Museum, and the Alps, the hotel provides convenient access to regional attractions.
