LVMH Hotel Management announces two new appointments

LVMH Hotel Management has announced two appointments to the management of the Cheval Blanc brand. The hotel operator has appointed Wilfried Morandini as General Manager of Cheval Blanc Paris and Francisco Garcia as General Manager of Cheval Blanc Courchevel.

Wilfried Morandini joined the Cheval Blanc hotel collection in 2018 as General Manager of the Courchevel property. He has over 20 years of experience in the hotel industry. He started as a commis waiter at La Tour d'Argent in 1992. Two years later, he worked for the first time in a luxury hotel when he joined the Ritz Paris where he was also a commis waiter. Since then, he has taken on senior roles in prestigious establishments around the world such as Four Seasons Hotel George V, Le Bristol, Hôtel Le Meurice and Royal Mansour.

Francisco Garcia replaces Wilfried Morandini at the head of Cheval Blanc Courchevel. The Spaniard joined the Four Seasons Group in 2000 and for over 17 years worked in Dublin, Paris, and Abu Dhabi. In 2017, he joined Rosewood Hotels & Resorts as director of operations at Le Crillon before joining Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group as director of Mandarin Oriental Ritz Madrid. In his new role, he will open the doors of the Alpine establishment for the new season on 9th December.
