The group are planning to add 30 Tulip Residences in order to expand its aparthotel brand.
The move comes as part of Louvre Hotels Group’s intended expansion of its portfolio in 2022. Overall, it expects to open 150 properties, 30 of which will be extended-stay locations in Lille, Metz and Nice, amongst other cities, under its Tulip Residences brand.
Strong performance by the group has permitted this investment, with some of its markets currently outperforming 2019 levels. Tulip Residences provide long-stay reservations that allow guests to combine coliving and coworking.
We entered into extended stay… we opened the first one in Paris last year followed very soon by a new opening in Poland and it’s had a very good reception as a product. Today in Europe we have a pipeline of around 30 openings of Tulip Residences, and we want to continue growing this brand.
