IHG Hotels & Resorts is increasing its presence in the European upscale extended stay segment by adding more than 380 rooms to its Staybridge Suites brand.
The new signings include Staybridge Suites Budapest - Parkside in Hungary, Staybridge Suites Antwerp in Belgium, and Staybridge Suites Belfast in Northern Ireland. These additions highlight the popularity of extended stay accommodations and IHG’s ability to deliver all-suite experiences.

New Staybridge Suites Signings Across the UK and Europe :
- Staybridge Suites Budapest - Parkside, scheduled to open in 2027, will be the brand's first property in Hungary. This 152-room hotel, developed by UDI Group and operated under a franchise agreement with Mogotel Hotel Group, will be located in Budapest’s 13th district. The hotel will be part of a mixed-use development, providing easy access to the Vaci Road business corridor, Margaret Island, Obuda Island, and City Park
- Staybridge Suites Antwerp, set to open at the end of 2026, will be the brand's debut in Belgium. The 99-room hotel, signed with Borealis Hotel Group, will be situated near the train station, city center, and diamond district, catering to both business and leisure travelers.
- Staybridge Suites Belfast, owned by Andras House, will open in late 2027, offering 132 rooms as part of the Bedford Yard development.
Furthermore, Staybridge Suites Malaga is expected to open later this year, marking the brand's entry into Spain. The 105-suite hotel will be part of the Urban Sky project, blending private apartment living with hotel amenities. Staybridge Suites Cannes Centre in France opened in November 2023, with 81 rooms near the Croisette. This property is a five-minute walk from the SNCF train station and a 30-minute drive from Nice Côte d'Azur airport. Moreover, all Staybridge Suites properties offer equipped kitchens, 24-hour fitness rooms, convenience stores, complimentary laundry facilities, and storage lockers. Guests can enjoy daily breakfast buffets and evening social events.
IHG is expanding the Staybridge Suites brand in Europe, with nine properties in the pipeline and 10 existing hotels, while globally, Staybridge Suites has 324 properties open and 171 in development, according to the numbers as at 31 March 2024.
