Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans for a new home rental offering: Homes & Hideaways by World of Hyatt. The short-term holiday rental platform will consist of private homes across the United States. It is expected to launch in the coming weeks.

Homes & Hideaways by World of Hyatt has been imagined in order better to allow the company to provide more flexible stay experiences that fit the needs of every guest. The platform will principally focus on the premium holidays rental segment and concentrate its offer on key US travel destinations, such as Hawaii or Colorado, before eventually expanding globally.

It will offer a collection of private homes featuring beachfront escapes, mountainside ski chalets, villas, country châteaux, cottages, modern townhouses, apartments, flats, and penthouses. All properties will be managed by vetted property management companies to ensure client experience.

Hyatt has appointed Lowe to purchase and operate, through an affiliate, the existing vacation rental management business, which is currently branded Destination Residences Management (DRM). Homes & Hideaways by World of Hyatt is expected to include existing DRM properties in the States’ most popular leisure destinations.
