Hilton has announced plans to expand its presence in Portugal with the addition of three new hotels under the Canopy by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and DoubleTree by Hilton brands.

Scheduled to open in 2025 and 2026, these new properties will further Hilton's growth in Southern Europe, offering a variety of accommodations and experiences for travelers.

Canopy by Hilton Vilamoura Marina

Expected to open in 2026, Canopy by Hilton Vilamoura Marina will offer a boutique hotel experience that highlights the local area. Situated 500 meters from Praia da Vilamoura in the centre of Marina Vilamoura, the 155-room hotel will feature amenities such as a restaurant, bar, spa, outdoor pool, and fitness center. The development is a result of a franchise agreement with Arrow Global Group.

Santo André Beach Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Opening in 2025, Santo André Beach Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, will be the first Hilton property in the Santiago do Cacém region. The hotel will provide 44 guest rooms, along with a restaurant, bar, gym, and rooftop pool. Located 200 meters from the Santo Andre and Sancha Lagoons Natural Reserve and 500 meters from Santo André Beach, this hotel is part of a franchise agreement with Mercan Properties Group.

DoubleTree by Hilton Lisbon Airport

Set to open in 2025, DoubleTree by Hilton Lisbon Airport will offer convenience for business and leisure travelers with its location just five minutes from Lisbon Airport. The hotel will have 199 guest rooms and 20 suites, as well as a restaurant, bar, breakfast area, and facilities for meetings and events. A fitness room and outdoor area will also be available for guests. This property is being developed under a franchise agreement with Mercan Properties Group.
