The Labruyère family group has announced that it is investing in H8 Collection, which will allow it to pursue its policy of acquiring properties in France and to initiate development abroad.
The H8 Collection hotel group, which includes the Mathis in Paris, the Hôtel Mont-Blanc in Chamonix and Le Castel Beau Site in Brittany, operates upscale hotels in places symbolic of local heritage. The ambition of this merger with the Labruyère group, which operates wineries, is to develop a French and international hotel network together while promoting the regional ecosystem.
Jean-Philippe Cartier, President of the H8 Collection Group explains: "This association with the Labruyère Group is above all a meeting story. First with François Morinière, with whom we immediately shared values and a common vision, then with Vincent Labruyère, with whom I understood his family's attachment to French culture and heritage. I was convinced that this family group was the ideal partner for this new stage in the history of the H8 Collection Group."
The H8 Collection Group operates small hotels and as of July 1, 2018 has 8 hotels in its portfolio for a total of 223 rooms, according to Hospitality ON data.
