Generator has announced that it has been awarded its first third-party management agreement in Europe. The agreement with Schroders Capital's ONE80° Hostel has resulted in the opening of Generator Berlin Alexanderplatz.
Centrally located in Berlin’s famous Alexanderplatz, the property will operate under the brand’s hybrid model of part private and part shared accommodation. Its 132 guestrooms range from private twin rooms to 8-person dorms.
Refurbishment is still underway, though the hotel remains open. Once complete, its lodgings will be transformed to adhere to Generator’s signature locally inspired design plan.
Additional amenities include a cafe, a bar, a terrace, relaxation spaces, and a baggage hold.
The property is the third in the hybrid accommodation brand’s Berlin portfolio. It joins Generator Berlin Mitte and Generator Berlin Prenzlauer Berg.
