FITUR Madrid 2024: record attendance at the fair and in hotel rooms

The 44th edition of the FITUR 2024 International Tourism Fair, held from 24 to 28 January, was a great success, with an exceptional 250,000 participants, an increase of 13.7% on the previous year. FITUR's global impact was further enhanced by the active participation of 152 countries and 96 official representations, underlining its international importance. Hoteliers packed their rooms at FITUR, boosting hotel performance in Madrid and the surrounding area.

The 250,000 visitors included 153,000 professionals and 97,000 members of the general public. The event boasted record exhibition space, comprising nine pavilions.
