Mama Shelter is going to open its first property in London.
Mama Shelter plans to rebrands the RE Hotel London Shoreditch before it opens to the public. Built in 2008, the family-owned RE hotel comprises 178 rooms.
An affiliate of Crosstree Real Estate partners acquired the hotel and signed agreements with Mama Shelter to refurbish it.
The renovation will consist in reimagine the ground floor restaurant, bar space as well as improvements in public spaces and guest rooms.
Will Dear, principal at Crosstree, said: "The RE hotel property offers us an exciting opportunity to create a new destination hotel in an emerging and vibrant part of London."
