Ennismore, in collaboration with AB Invest and Møller Eiendom, has announced the signing of The Hoxton, Oslo, marking the brand’s entry into the Nordic region and Ennismore’s first property in Norway.

Scheduled to open in 2027, the project will introduce the lifestyle hotel brand to the Norwegian market.

“We are thrilled to be the first international lifestyle hospitality brand in Oslo. The Hoxton takes pride in being located in vibrant, up-and-coming neighbourhoods, and we are honoured to partner with AB Invest and Møller Eiendom to welcome locals and guests to Oslo’s revitalised government district.” - Sharan Pasricha, Founder & Co-CEO of Ennismore

The Hoxton, Oslo will offer 144 rooms, a 170sqm meeting and events space called The Apartment, and three distinct food and beverage outlets curated by Ennismore’s Carte Blanched. The hotel will feature a welcoming, open-plan lobby designed for lounging, working, or dining, reflecting The Hoxton’s aesthetic crafted by AIME Studios, Ennismore’s in-house design team.

Situated near Oslo’s government quarter, The Hoxton is part of a broader project to revitalize the city center, creating a green, car-free neighborhood. The hotel will be close to key attractions such as Karl Johans gate, Oslo's main street, and the restaurant and nightlife area.

This project is a joint venture between AB Invest, a property developer specializing in commercial properties in the Nordics, and Møller Eiendom, a company focused on innovative urban spaces.

“In recent years, we’ve witnessed a shift among Norwegians, as they bring home the hotel habits acquired during their travels abroad. They are looking for great food, a unique atmosphere, and a memorable experience. As the Norwegian hotel market evolves, we eagerly embraced the opportunity to introduce Hoxton to Norway. We firmly believe that this trend will further enhance Oslo’s appeal as a premier hotel destination, catering both international guests and locals.” - Anders Buchardt from AB Invest

“The Hoxton has built an international brand of lifestyle neighborhood hotel, and that is precisely what we need when revitalizing the Hammersborg neighbourhood. The hotel will be a place to hang out for both locals popping in for a drink after work and for guests staying at the hotel or in the surrounding area.” - Andreas Jul Røsjø CEO from Møller Eiendom

The Hoxton brand currently operates 16 hotels across the UK, Europe, and North America, with seven more in development, including one in Edinburgh.
