Vocabolo Moscatelli

The global collection of independent, design-driven hotels has announced the addition of new hotels from Europe, Asia and North America to its portfolio.

Vocabolo Moscatelli, Italy

Opening in August 2022, the 12-room boutique hotel in Umbria blends Italian history and 20th century design. Located in a valley near a forest perfect for rambling, Vocabolo Moscatelli is made for those looking to escape the city.

Mamula Island, Montenegro

The luxury hotel will open in August inside a reconverted 19th century fortress off the coast of Montenegro. Designed by MCM London and interiors crafted by weStudio, Mamula Island will incorporate modern elements whilst respecting the history and heritage of the original construction. It will also include a glass-covered courtyard, a memorial gallery, a spa, three restaurants, four bars, three outdoor pools and a private beach.

Ora, Priorat

Formerly an 18th century abbey, Torroja del Priorat will open as a converted hotel in September 2022. Its rooms will be designed using vintage pieces of furniture and materials like wicker to welcome guests with a contemporary, Old-World ambiance.

The Curator, Lisbon

Opening in autumn 2022 in the city’s Belém-Alcântara district, the hotel is part of a larger project that includes a museum and a former chapel converted into a performing arts and literary space.

Manna, Arcadia

Ahead of a winter 2022 opening, an abandoned sanatorium on Greece’s Peloponnese peninsula will be converted into Manna. K-Studio will provide the hotel with warm, mountainous interiors inspired by ancient Arcadia.

Cap Karoso, Indonesia

The resort is located on the little-known island of Sumba and will open in December 2022. Its 3 hectares of organic farmland will produce the ingredients for the 2 restaurants that lie amongst the traditional huts and modern structures that will constitute its accommodation offer.

El Hotelito by Musa, Mexico

The 13-room property will open along Guerrero’s Pacific coast in autumn 2022. Its concept is the combination of conscious design and modern luxury in a natural setting. Amenities will include an infinity pool, an on-site chef, a Mexican restaurant, a bar, a beach club, a recording studio, a bio pool and an organic farm.
