Hôtel Barrière Fouquet's New York will open its doors by the end of summer 2022 in the Tribeca district. Owned by Caspi Development and operated by Barrière, the opening of the hotel marks the arrival of the group in the United States.
The luxury hotel has 97 rooms and suites spread over 8 floors. They are decorated by Swedish-American designer Martin Brudnizki, who is also responsible for the hotel's art deco interior design. Two restaurants and a bar cater to the F&B needs of guests.
Fouquet's New York, a French brasserie, features a menu by triple Michelin star chef Pierre Gagnaire. Par Ici Café is a vegetarian restaurant set up in the style of a traditional Parisian bistro with French café tables and woven rattan chairs. Titsou Bar is inspired by the speakeasy at the Hotel Barrière Fouquet's Paris, and is also hidden behind a secret door made to look like a bookshelf.
Guests of Hôtel Barrière Fouquet's New York also have access to a spa, called the Spa Diane Barrière, as well as a state-of-the-art cinema.
With over 30 years of experience in the management of luxury establishments, Gilles Stellardo is tasked with overseeing the hotel's operations in his role as general manager.
We are honoured to bring the Barrière brand, a prestigious icon in the hotel industry, to New York City, creating a level of hospitality that the Tribeca neighbourhood has never experienced before. [...] We look forward to creating a space that blends traditional French elegance with the unique vibe that emanates from Tribeca.
Joshua Caspi, Director of Caspi Development
We are particularly proud of this first property in the United States because Hôtel Barrière Fouquet's New York is a collective project supported by the entire Group. [...] At the Louvre Abu Dhabi as well as today in New York, Fouquet's contributes to the influence of France and French art de vivre across the world. This is one of the reasons why Barrière will continue to grow its international development.
Dominique Desseigne, President of the Barrière Group
