Accor, has announced the addition of 29 new hotels in France during the first half of 2024.

This expansion includes openings such as the greet Brest Aéroport and ibis Styles Bezons Paris La Défense in March, and ibis Roquebrune Cap Martin and Novotel Rouen Centre in May. June will see the launch of four Handwritten Collection hotels, a TRIBE hotel in Clichy, and Mama Shelter Nice, part of Accor's Ennismore lifestyle division.

Expansion Overview

Accor’s ongoing development in France is set to continue with a pipeline of 85 hotels, totaling over 7,400 rooms. These projects are divided into the Premium, Midscale & Economy division, which will include 78 hotels, and the Luxury & Lifestyle division, with seven hotels, mainly represented by Ennismore.

New Brand Developments

- greet: This brand focuses on sustainability and the principle of second life, recently opening three new locations in France and Europe.
- TRIBE: A design-oriented brand founded in Australia in 2017, TRIBE plans to open over 40 hotels in the next five years, primarily in Europe.
- Handwritten Collection: This brand, featuring hotels with personalized atmospheres, is expanding rapidly in France.

Handwritten Collection Focus

- Square Lodge Hotel La Roche-Sur-Yon (Opened 22/05): Located in La Roche-sur-Yon’s Place Napoléon, the hotel features preserved 19th-century facades and a family-inspired atmosphere.
- Hôtel Castel Maintenon (Opening 3/06): Situated near the Château de Maintenon and its golf course, this hotel offers a "Gasthaus Alsacienne" experience.
- Maison Hamelin Paris (Opening late June): Located in Paris's 16th arrondissement, this hotel combines refined furnishings and a Parisian chic ambiance.
- Hôtel Plaza Biarritz (Opening 24/06): Overlooking Grande Plage in Biarritz, this historic hotel features restored Art Deco architecture and ocean views.

- greet Brest Aéroport: Near Brest city center and the airport, this hotel includes 70 rooms, a bar, restaurant, coworking space, and meeting room.
- ibis Roquebrune Cap Martin: Located close to the beach, this hotel offers modern rooms and easy access to Nice airport and local attractions.
- ibis Styles Bezons Paris La Défense: A budget-friendly hotel with 117 rooms, green spaces, and a restaurant.
- Novotel Rouen Centre Cathédrale: Situated in Rouen’s historic center, this hotel features spacious rooms, an indoor pool, a fitness room, and an Italian trattoria.

European Expansion

Accor’s growth extends beyond France with recent openings such as the first Pullman hotel in Hungary, the first greet hotel in Belgium, Swissôtel in Georgia, and ibis Styles Madrid Centro, which will open in June in Spain.
