Accor unveils its 2023 openings

Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Panama

French hospitality giant Accor has revealed a shortlist of 34 of its most anticipated openings for next year.

Luxury Hotels & Resorts:

Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Panama (Early 2023)

The sixth property of the Sofitel Legend brand will be located in a UNESCO World Heritage site. It will boast 159 rooms and suites, 5 eateries, a pool and modulable event spaces.

Fairmont Ramla Serviced Residences, Riyadh (Early 2023)

The eco-conscious luxury property will offer 249 residential units across 35 floors. It will be located near King Abdullah Financial District and Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center.

Raffles London at The OWO (Mid 2023)

Located at the historic Old War Office in Whitehall, which has undergone extensive transformation works, the hotel will have 120 guestrooms and suites, 85 private residences, and 11 ultra-stylish restaurants and bars. An exclusive Guerlain spa and wellness facility by PILLAR will complete the offer.

Raffles Boston Back Bay Hotel & Residences (Mid 2023)

North America’s first Raffles will be situated in the Back Bay neighbourhood. It will boast 147 guestrooms and 146 residences across 35 floors, as well as a three-story sky lobby.

Raffles at Galaxy Macau (Mid 2023)

The hotel will have 450 suites, each with Samsung The Frame Hospitality and the brand’s Raffles Butlers providing service.

Domaine De La Reine Margot - MGallery (Mid 2023)

The 17th century site will welcome guests in in the heart of Paris’ Jardin des Quiétudes. Additional amenities will include a spa, a vegetable garden, and an orchard.

Sofitel Shanghai North Bund (Late 2023)

Its 300 rooms and suites spread over 25 floors will offer guests views over the city skyline. The hotel will also have a rooftop bar, a spa, and a gym.

MontAzure Lakeside Phuket – MGallery (Late 2023)

The first MGallery Residences in Thailand will boast 236 studios and one-bedroom residences surrounded by gardens, lakes, and fountains. Additionally, its guests will be able to enjoy a relaxation pavilion, a jogging track, a yoga platform, a fitness centre, a clubhouse, a nature trail, a family-friendly pool area, as well as a restaurant and pool bar.

Lifestyle (Ennismore):

Maison Delano Paris (Early 2023)

Located in an 18th century courtyard building, the property will offer culinary concepts by three-star Michelin Chef Dani García.

Mama Shelter Rennes (Early 2023)

The 119-key hotel will boast 5 workshops, a restaurant, a swimming pool, several karaoke rooms, the city’s first rooftop bar, and the very first Mama Skin Spa.

SO/ Uptown Dubai (Early 2023)

Located in Uptown Tower, the hotel will have restaurants and bars, a spa, a swimming pool, and a ballroom, alongside 188 stylish guestrooms and 229 private residences.

21c Museum Hotel St. Louis (Early 2023)

Housed in a renovated city landmark building, the property will offer contemporary art filled spaces, community-focused cultural programming, locally sourced F&B offerings, as well as a full-service athletic and swim club.

TRIBE Bangkok Sukhumvit 39 (Early 2023)

The Thai hotel will propose a gym, a swimming pool, and an Onsen spa for its guests. Its F&B offer will include a café with snacks, barista coffees by day, and signature cocktails by night.

Mondrian Singapore (Early 2023)

Located near Central Business District in the trendy Duxton Hill area, the property will offer views over the city’s skyline.

Rixos Qetaifan Island, Doha (Mid 2023)

The resort will cater to adults and children alike with its Rixy Kids Club, traditional Turkish hammam, spa treatment rooms, Exclusive Sports Club, and evening entertainment.

The Hoxton, Charlottenburg (Mid 2023)

The brand’s German debut will boast 234 guestrooms designed by AIME Studios with Art Nouveau-inspired forms in homage to the area’s key role in Berlin’s Golden Twenties era.

Mondrian and Hyde Ibiza (Mid 2023)

The 2 hotels will offer 9 restaurants and bars, including a beach club between them. Both will be located in Cala Llonga Bay. The Mondrian will have 154 rooms, whilst the Hyde property will boast 409.

Europe

greet hotel Paris Hippodrome De Vincennes (Early 2023)

In tune with the brand’s “do good, feel good” mentality, guests will enjoy comfortable social areas to meet, play board games, and socialise.

ibis Styles Copenhagen Ørestad, Denmark (Early 2023)

The first property for the brand in the Nordic country will be located in the vibrant island Amager district near Copenhagen city centre.

Swissôtel Tbilisi, Georgia (Mid 2023)

A brand first in Georgia, the hotel will be in the heart of the Old Tow. Its floral and decorative interiors will be designed by the Sundukovy Sisters. A rooftop restaurant and bar will sit on the 7th floor.

Pullman Okol Resort Golf & Spa, Bulgaria (Mid 2023)

Pullman’s first Bulgarian property will boast 140 guestrooms and 40 branded residences. 30 km southeast of Sofia, the resort will be integrated into the OKOL Lake Park project.

Adagio London Whitechapel (Late 2023)

Designed for longer stays, the property will offer 147 serviced apartments, going from 1- to 2-bedrooms complete with kitchens.

Swissôtel Resort Kolasin, Montenegro (Late 2023)

Accor’s debut in the country will be located 1,600 m above sea level amidst picturesque ski slopes within the K16 resort. It will be a 116-key hotel.

The Americas

Novotel Mexico City Centro Historico (Late 2023)

The brand’s fourth property in the city will be aimed at business travellers and families alike. Its elegant, modern design has been thought out to create a warm, friendly atmosphere.

China

Mövenpick by Accor, Qingdao (Late 2023)

The property is set to offer a China-specific adaptation of the brand – tailored to the interests, tastes, culture, and preferences of Chinese travellers.

Grand Mercure Living Chengdu & Grand Mercure Chengdu (Late 2023)

The properties will be located within the Western Financial Innovation Center. The residence will constitute the first Grand Mercure Living in China.

India, Middle East, Asia, & Africa

Mercure Hotel Cairns (Early 2023)

The new hotel will be the result of multi-million dollar refurbishment and rebrand. It will boast 75 guestrooms and a modern Australian restaurant.

Pullman Singapore Hill Street (Mid 2023)

The property will boast 342 rooms, a rooftop bar, an executive lounge, a health and fitness centre, and a pool.

ibis Styles Bangkok Twin Towers (Mid 2023)

The largest ibis Styles hotel in the world will house over 600 rooms, three restaurants, meeting rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, and a spa.

Novotel New Delhi City Centre (Mid 2023)

The hotel will be designed to offer an oasis of calm in the middle of the bustling city. It will offer modern guestrooms, a lively social hub, and a kid-friendly family zone.

Mercure Tokyo Haneda (Late 2023)

Its common areas and guestrooms will be inspired by local Japanese culture and design aesthetics. Mercure social hubs will also offer modulable places to eat, drink, socialise or work.

Pullman Nairobi Upper Hill (Mid 2023)

The hotel will be located close to the city’s financial district, corporate offices, and international embassies and offer views over the city’s skyline.
