The Accor group has signed a management agreement with Kasada to operate Lamantin Beach Resort & Spa. It will open in 2023 under the Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts brand. The hotel group's Senegalese portfolio already includes three properties (576 keys) in operation, with two others (612 keys) under development.
Located in the port of Saly, 80 km south of Dakar, Lamantin Beach Resort & Spa has been operating under the Accor brand since 1 October. It will undergo a phased renovation as part of its transition to the Mövenpick brand between now and the end of next year.
The hotel will have 166 rooms (starting from 28 m²), an all-day restaurant, a speciality restaurant, and a beach lounge. It will also include a 750 m² spa and fitness centre, as well as rooms and terraces for hosting meetings and events.
It will offer a wide range of entertainment, including water and land-based activities. The children's club will offer a variety of cultural and sporting events. Entertainment on the beach and aqua gym facilities will complete the offer.
Lamantin Beach Resort & Spa managed by Accor is a fantastic addition to our portfolio in Senegal. We are proud and happy to partner, once again, with Kasada on another wonderful project. Bringing the first Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts property to the country is a testament, not only to the brand's growth momentum, but also to the tourism appeal of Senegal as a destination.
