Park Inn Muscat holds first-aid training for staff

Park Inn by Radisson Muscat hotel held a Medic/First Aid training for 24 staff. The goal of the training is to help hotel staff to gain knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to manage a medical emergency until more advance help is available for hotel guests. Performing CPR, does not require making complex decisions or having in-depht medical knowledge. It is easy to learn, remember and do. The hotel staff was trained by, Dr. Ghazwan Al Duliamy MBch, FIBMS Medical Supervisor of Target Training Services who demonstrated the basic skills. A trained provider is someone trained in the delivery of CPR and use of AED, until personnel are available to provide more advanced care.The course includes personal safety, chest compressions for adults, children and infants, rescue breaths, trouble shooting, choking, emotional considerations, control of bleeding managing shock, stroke, pain severe pressure or discomfort in the chest and automated exteral defibrillators for adults. Defibrillation is a process of passing an electrical shock through the heart to restore a normal pumping rhythm.This is great course for the staff to be able to provide this program to staff of our hotel.
