talent et formation hospitality

The hotel and restaurant industries are both sectors where quality and excellence of service and products are key to providing the best possible experience for customers. Both sectors are full of talented people, whether innately or through an apprenticeship. Indeed, these two sectors are known to be very formative and train the talents of tomorrow by counting on ambitious and dynamic young people eager to learn and evolve. However, these sectors have recently experienced a shortage of labour, and it is therefore urgent to improve their image through positive and attractive initiatives.

Chaud Devant!, Louvre Hotels Group’s culinary university is a unique place dedicated to the development of the group's talents in the heart of France's famous gastronomic centre and the world's largest fresh produce market, the Rungis International Market. More precisely, "Chaud Devant!" is a culinary university dedicated to in-house training in the restaurant and hotel industry, with the ambition of transmitting Louvres Hotels' passion for the restaurant business, hospitality and the transmission of knowledge.

The hotel has done everything possible to get to know its customers better and thus meet their needs and expectations. Nota Bene: The HON editorial team highlights and values the entries submitted for the Hospitality Awards 2021 in complete independence from the competition itself, which is governed by precise rules. This in no way prejudges the outcome of the specific process of nominating finalists or winners, which follows the rules of the competition through the examination of the entries by a jury followed by a sworn bailiff and live voting on the day of the ceremony. The abundance of initiatives submitted during this 21st edition is a fine illustration of the efforts made by the profession in the face of the crisis and it was important for us to share them with you.
