The Runner must be happy and maybe that’s the main reason he wanted to rest in front of the emblematic hotel of Athens which is now officially part of the Costa Navarino family. And Captain Vassilis Constantakopoulos would also be proud to see his sons widening his vision and adding a hotel with such a heritage, an all-time classic destination, 12 months of the year.

Costa Navarino has put the Peloponnese on the international map. And now, Hilton Athens, is about to be rebranded. They say it’s more than a hotel. It’s a legacy, a cult destination itself, with a great Greek artist of the past, Yannis Moralis, setting the tone with a retro artwork on the facade, and the unique architectural style, the view to the Acropolis and the city skyline from the rooftop Galaxy bar.

Take me to the Hilton, the motto itself, brings the visitor near the Benaki Museum, the Byzantine Museum, the Museum of Cycladic Art and the Acropolis Museum. It was Conrad Hilton himself, who considered the Athens Hilton to be «the most beautiful Hilton hotel in the world», an emblematic hotel designed by four Greek architects with elements of Greekness: Emmanouil Vourekas, Prokopis Vassiliadis, Spyros Staikos and Antonis Georgiades.

Αnd now that one of the capital’s landmark hotels comes under control of the Costa Navarino owner, Achilleas Constantakopoulos of TEMES, after the decision of the Turkish group Dogus to sell its stake, it’s a new day for luxurious tourism accommodation and high-income guests with the creation of luxury apartments for sale, new commercial spaces for food and entertainment services, retail stores, high-end hospitality and gastronomy. Take me to the New Hilton.
