InterContinental Hotels has continued expanding the Indigo brand in Europe with the opening of Germany's third Indigo establishment. The hotel is located in Düsseldorf, sharing the German portfolio with two more establishments in Berlin (Hotel Indigo Berlin - Alexanderplatz and Hotel Indigo Berlin - Ku'Damm).Hotel Indigo Düsseldorf - Victoriaplatz opened under a franchise agreement with LFPI Hotels Management Germany GmbH. It offers 126 guestrooms designed to reflect the location in Germany's fashion capital.According to Tom Rowntree, IHG's VP of Brand Management & Quality - Europe, "the two Hotel Indigo properties in Berlin have proved a popular base for city explorers and we look forward to welcoming guests to this new hotel". IHG currently operates 11 Hotel Indigo properties in Europe, with 14 more in the pipeline for the next 3-5 years.
