Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has launched the “Women Own the Room” program, designed to advance and empower female entrepreneurs who are interested in hotel ownership.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts announced its first signed agreement under its innovative "Women Own the Room" program. The program is intended to help overcome common barriers women face in hotel development and to help them effectively open and run their hotels.
Women Own the Room is built upon the pillars of:
- Delivering comprehensive financial solutions
- Offering personalized and complimentary operational guidance & support
- Establishing an inclusive community for networking & education
Chip Ohlsson, Chief Development Officer, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts
Members of the Women Own the Room program will have access to tools and support designed to help them succeed every step of the way, from signing and laying the groundwork to welcoming their first guests. The program is designed to pave the way for women looking to make their mark in the hospitality industry.
Together with these educational and networking events and a commitment to use its balance sheet to support women hotel owners, Wyndham is also launching a development incentive program that will provide financing as well as complimentary or expanded first-year operating services to support hotels developed by women.
