Rezidor is expanding further in the country with the Park Inn by Radisson Hotel Göttingen. The addition to the German portfolio is a conversion of an existing building, to open its doors in late 2013.The project is the group's sixth cooperation with strategic franchise partner Provent. According to Wolfgang M. Neumann, President & CEO at Rezidor, the group looks forward " to further growing our relationship".The establishment will offer 114 guestrooms in the city, whose major business driver is a university that employs about 14,300 people and hosts 25,000 students. Otherajor economic drivers of the region include aviation, biotechnology and steel.Accordingly, there are 600 square metres of meeting space to accommodate up to 195 guests, including meeting, conference, and board rooms. Other offerings include All-day dining, a terrace and bar, a fitness center, and sauna. With this latest opening, Rezidor now has a German portfolio of 52 hotels for 1,000 rooms.
