Marriott International strengthens The Luxury Collection's presence in the United Arab Emirates with its first opening in Abu Dhabi, of the Al Wathba Desert Resort & Spa with 130 rooms and villas.

Al Wathba Desert Resort & Spa joins The Luxury Collection brand's portfolio in the United Arab Emirates, including several properties such as Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa and Grosvenor House Desert Resort & Spa in Dubai, as well as Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort in Ajman.

Al Wathba Desert Resort & Spa offers six restaurants and bars, offering a wide selection of international culinary specialities. With 11 treatment rooms, the hotel also features relaxation areas including a sauna, steam rooms, a yoga pavilion, deep pools and snow caves. In addition, more than 180 m² of floor space is available for private and corporate events
