Meliá Hotels International's youngest brand is preparing its arrival in Madrid for the beginning of spring.
INNSiDE by Meliá Madrid Gran Vía is the result of the complete renovation of the former TRYP Cibeles. The future hotel will offer a prime location, in Malasaña, with a proposal of local art and culture that connects with the essence of the brand. Furthermore, it will settle in a historic building, built at the height of the 1920s by Antonio Palacios Ramilo.
INNSiDE By Meliá Madrid Gran Vía will offer 117 rooms with all the key attributes of the brand: sustainable items such as sheets, bathrobes and amenities with low environmental impact and no single-use plastic materials. In addition, and in order to connect with the city, the hotel will have different spaces influenced by urban artists, thanks to the collaboration with Madrid Street Art Project, an independent entity dedicated to supporting art and local urban artists and will be part of the Pinta Malasaña festival.
The hotel will have an Open Living Lounge on the 7th floor, a space dedicated to working or having fun in the order of one's choice. In this space will coexist the reception, artistic spaces, the bar and restaurant and the DJ area. INNSiDE By Meliá Madrid Gran Vía aspires to become the trendy place and gastronomic reference in the city, both for locals and tourists, thanks to the Abica group and its commitment with "A Ollo", a gastronomic space with Galician touches and international influence, as well as an incredible roof bar, "Le Tavernier", where customers can have a cocktail with views of the sky, in the centre of Madrid.
Thanks to this new hotel, the group brings back with its more accessible lifestyle brand, adapted for those looking for the quality of the group with a renewed, modern and youthful concept of service, as well as avant-garde facilities equipped with the latest technology.
In 2021, INNSiDE by Meliá plans to expand, prioritising sustainability and respect for the environment and to open new hotels in Amsterdam, Liverpool, Newcastle and Luxembourg. These openings will join the brand's portfolio, currently made up of 33 hotels in countries such as Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, the United States, Vietnam, China and Peru.
