IHG opens a new Holiday Inn Express in Bicester, a top UK shopping venue

InterContinental Hotels Group continues its development in the UK, with a brand-new property in Oxfordshire, in the middle of England. Managed by Atlas Hotels, the Holiday Inn Express was built by L+R Hotels.

This new venue is located just 10-minute walk from Bicester town center, which is one of the most famous places for shopping in England. The hotel was therefore made for shopping clients, with free on-site parking, modern equipment, and comfortable rooms. Guests will enjoy the last Holiday Inn Express generation, including a wide part of technology and health safety.

Gemma Goodwin, Hotel Operations Manager, Holiday Inn Express Bicester commented: “Holiday Inn Express Bicester is in a prime location for those looking to get away and enjoy the attractions that Bicester and Oxfordshire have to explore. The hotel offers a refreshingly smart stay that delivers more where it matters most.

The hotel features 149 bedrooms, from twin standard to family room. Every room has guest-controlled air-conditioning, blackout curtains, high-quality bedding, a power shower, and free high-speed Wi-Fi. Clients will also appreciate a flat screen TV, designed chairs and USB ports next to the bed. Located in Bicester Business Park, the hotel is also a place for work and meetings, with seven air-conditioned flexible rooms that can accommodate up to 45 people. A flexible workspace and connected table are also available in rooms and in the lobby area for business guests.

In 2020, IHG offers 268 Holiday Inn Express hotels in Europe and 69 are in the pipeline, with an opening in the next 3-5 years.
