Iberostar Hotels & Resorts will open within 2021 its second hotel in Madrid and specifically in the building of the Albéniz Theater. In summer 2021 the 5-star hotel will finally be a reality.
The opening was scheduled for the first half of 2019, although it depended on the pace of the rehabilitation works being carried out by Mazabi Gestión de Patrimonios.
The difficulties of the rehabilitation, being a historic building, coincided in time with the beginning of the pandemic but the chain seemed determined to open the new establishment.
The hotel, which will join the Iberostar Las Letras on Gran Vía, will be part of the chain's city hotel segment, which includes hotels in privileged locations and unique buildings in the heart of cities with tourist attractions.
Iberostar points out that the new establishment will have an innovative leisure offer around a large theater located inside.
This upcoming opening reinforces the Majorcan chain's commitment to the urban segment and its commitment to quality in line with its strategic policy of investing in the transformation and development of new products and services.
