The inauguration marks the first Grand Hyatt hotel in Saudi Arabia.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the opening of the Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residences in Saudi Arabia, the first Grand Hyatt hotel in the Kingdom. The 368-room luxury hotel, including 54 residential units, is located in the commercial heart of Al Khobar, with a connecting bridge to Al Rashid Mall. The Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residences is the sixth Hyatt branded hotel in Saudi Arabia and the fifth Grand Hyatt branded hotel in the Middle East. This marks an important step in Hyatt's growth strategy in the region.
With the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia being a growing tourist destinations, the Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residences fulfills the government's Vision 2030 to attract international travelers to the region.

The hotel will open in phases with 120 rooms and 20 residences. The highlights of this first phase include the opening of the restaurant facilities, lobby lounge, banqueting rooms, fitness center and spa. The remaining rooms as well as the Rosalie and Sakana House restaurants are scheduled to open in a second phase in February 2021. The final phase will see the opening of the remaining residences, scheduled for March 2021. The Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residences has 368 contemporary rooms, including 45 suites and 54 residences. All suites include access to the Grand Club Lounge.
