The upper-midscale brand has opened nearly 60 hotels in the first six months of 2018.
Hilton announced the opening of 15 new properties, including Hampton by Hilton Antwerp Central Station in Belgium (145 rooms) and Hampton Inn by Hilton Monterrey Apodaca (181 rooms) in Mexico.
The recent openings solidify Hampton’s international footprint, with 11 new hotels outside the U.S. joining the portfolio, including brand firsts in Belgium, Northern Ireland and Munich, as well as seven new properties in China.

Hampton by Hilton welcomed several openings across the globe, including:
- Hampton Inn by Hilton Marathon – Florida Keys (80 rooms)
- Hampton Inn by Hilton Petaluma
- Hampton by Hilton Antwerp Central Station (145 rooms)
- Hampton by Hilton Monterrey Apodaca (181 rooms)
- Hampton by Hilton Munich City West (228 rooms)
The brand also opened Hampton by Hilton Belfast City Centre (178 rooms) in the United Kingdom and seven new locations in China.
As of January 1, 2017, Hilton ranked second hotel group worldwide with 5,236 properties for a total of 848,014 rooms, according to data by Hospitality ON.
