The lakeside hotel, expected to open in summer 2014, will offer 444 guestrooms, including 68 suites, and be minutes from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Many rooms will in fact offer views of the park's nightly fireworks display. In addition, the five-acre Explorer Island offers a 705 square meter family pool, climbing wall, waterslides, beach volleyball, basketball, a video gaming center, and outdoor movie nights. The meetings offer includes 3,480 square meter conference facilities with many indoor and outdoor flexible spaces for up to 720 guests.
