After the purchase of the Massane gold in the same region, Eoden wishes to propose within the domain an eco-responsible upscale offer.
A historic estate
The history of this 50-hectare site goes back to the 12th century, when it belonged to the domain of the King of France and remained so until 1727. Over the centuries, it belonged to various French personalities such as the bishop of Montpellier and Maguelone, Charles Joachim-Colbert, the agronomist Henri Maès... The estate then went through a period of decline before being renovated by its last owner, the businessman Bernard Schmitt, who restored it to its former glory and turned it into an ecolodge in order to welcome clients who came to enjoy the surrounding Camargue setting.
An experiential offer in development
In 2020, Eoden bought the Massane golf course, also located in the Montpellier region, as well as the 5-star Altapura hotel in Val Thorens. The purchase of this estate in 2021 will complete the group's portfolio. The group, chaired by Erick Gay, aims to develop its range of hotels by proposing an offer with three dimensions: eco-responsible, luxury and experiential. Eoden wishes to assert its place as a pioneer in the renewable energy sector by creating more sustainable destinations while offering upscale services.
