Alila Hotels has announced that it plans to double its global hotel portfolio by adding 10 new properties over the next two years.
Alila Hotels and Resorts, leading Asian boutique group, has announced that it plans to double its portfolio over the next two years. This will consist of adding 10 new properties by 2015. New properties will be located in places including China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Oman.Portfolio growth will of course bring many firsts for the boutique hotel group. The expansion includes Alila's first venture into Western Asia, namely Oman with the Alila Jabal Akhdar (pictured), expected to open its doors at the end of 2013.The complete list of upcoming additions includes: Alila Jabal Akhdar in 2013 (Oman); Alila Fort Bishangarh in 2013 (India); Alila Seminyak in 2014, Alila Villas Bintan in 2015, and Alila Jakarta SCBD in 2014 (Indonesia); Alila Meiziwan Anji, Alila Xiangshuiwan, Alila Yingde, and Alila Lishui within the next two years (China); and properties in Sabah and Kuala Lampur in 2015 (Malaysia).Alila Hotels & Resorts currently manages eight properties under the Alila Villas and Alila brands in Indonesia and India.
