2023 : Waldorf Astoria and Canopy by Hilton set up in the Seychelles

Already very present on the Indian Ocean archipelago, Hilton increases its influence by expanding its luxury portfolio

Between exclusive and privacy

At the instigation of the Waldorf Astoria in the Maldives, Hilton continues its development by opening a resort on the private Waldorf Astoria Platte Island in the Seychelles. Scheduled to open in 2023, the resort will offer 59 villas each with a swimming pool and direct access to the beach.  Guests will have access to 6 restaurants and bars, a spa, a children's club, an outdoor observatory and tennis courts. Hilton aims to emphasise eco-responsible tourism by ensuring a green power supply, solar panel roofing and a marine conservation discovery centre.

A dynamic seaside

Located on Anse à la Mouche beach, the Canopy Mahé will open also in 2023. This 120-room complex will have a space dedicated to private and professional events.  Following the example of a boutique village, significant investments will be made in the development of the surrounding beach.

Carlos Khneisser, Vice President of Development, Middle East and Africa, Hilton said: "The Seychelles undoubtedly remains one of the world's most popular destinations for discerning travellers. We are proud of the role our teams have played in the sustainable development of Seychelles, and these new additions, together with Mango House Seychelles, LXR Hotels & Resorts, will offer our guests an unprecedented choice of world-class experiential options
