Generator pursues growth in Europe

After the recent opening in Paris, it is now in Stockholm, the Swedish capital, that Generator is growing its new generation youth hostel concept, that mixes clientele in its hybrid model.

Owned by the investment fund Patron Capital, the Generator concept, primarily addressing Generation Y clientele traveling throughout Europe, is slightly expanding its network with a 13th address: Stockholm.

Presented as a "boutique hostel", a contemporary design youth hostel, Generator is already present in Barcelona (2), Berlin (2), Copenhagen, Dublin, Hamburg, London, Paris, Rome and Venice. Amsterdam is already scheduled to open at the beginning of next year and Stockholm will join the list during the year just before Swedish National Day.

Designed in the style of the group's other properties by the Canadian DesignAgency, it will be located at 10 Torsgatan, near the central station and the city's primary pedestrian shopping street. It will also include a combination of accommodations offers including an 8 person dormitory and private doubles. Public spaces, bars, restaurant, are all designed to welcome a large crowd and there will be thematic events, and musical evenings and performances.
