Travelodge has recently opened two new properties in strategic locations : a 125-room hotel near the Dartford Crossing in Greater London, and a 101-room hotel overlooking Queens Dock in central Liverpool. Both hotels are positioned to serve a mix of leisure and business travellers and are expected to undergo brand-standard refurbishments in the coming months.

London Dartford Crossing

Located just off the M25 and close to the Dartford Tunnel, the Dartford Crossing Travelodge offers direct access to key transport links and regional attractions. Stone Crossing Station is within walking distance, facilitating rail connections to London and the Southeast.

The hotel is also positioned near major retail destinations such as Bluewater and Lakeside shopping centres, and is in proximity to Dartford Central Park and the River Thames waterfront.

The property will be renovated in line with Travelodge’s current brand standards. It aims to meet increasing demand for affordable accommodation options in the Greater London area, particularly among visitors looking for alternatives to central London rates. The hotel is also expected to support local employment and contribute to the area’s visitor economy.

Liverpool Central Queens Dock and Arena

The Liverpool property, Travelodge’s 10th in the city, is located on Queens Dock and includes 101 rooms and 70 on-site car parking spaces. The hotel is less than 500 metres from the M&S Bank Arena and the Exhibition Centre Liverpool, and within walking distance of cultural landmarks such as the Royal Albert Dock and the Museum of Liverpool.

The site is positioned to serve both tourism and event-driven demand, given its proximity to major venues, shopping districts such as Liverpool ONE, and local attractions including ferry terminals and stadiums for Liverpool FC and Everton FC.

The Liverpool hotel will also undergo a full refurbishment to align with the company’s latest interior design and guest service specifications.
