Accor have announced the future opening of a luxury address in Sapareva Banya, Bulgaria. It is expected to welcome its first guests in November 2024, and will be managed by Aqua Treatment Ad Ltd.
The complex will feature 171 rooms and suites, including a VIP villa complete with 5 rooms, an infinity pool and a jacuzzi. It will also have an events and conferencing area featuring a 400 m² ballroom, two medium sized meeting rooms, two boardrooms, as well as a pre-functions area and a library and business centre. Its F&B service will involve a signature Swissôtel restaurant, an outdoor terrace, a specialty restaurant, a lounge & lobby bar, a whisky bar and game room, an executive club, a Swiss gourmet corner and a pool bar with indoor seating.
Swissôtel Sapareva Banya Thermal Resort, SPA and Health Center will naturally boast many treatments and wellness facilities to take advantage of the region’s mineral springs and unique geyser. It will feature a fitness centre, a yoga room, a hamam, massage rooms, saunas, a beauty area, a medical clinic, and several pools with natural and thermal waters. Additionally, a genetic diagnostic centre to be paired with a retreat and balneology centre will complete its health and well-being offer.
The design of the complex is the fruit of a collaboration between SGI Architects and local firm URBA Arch. It is located in the western Kyustendil region, which is known for its clear and colourless Saparevian mineral water. Sapareva Banya is one of Bulgaria’s most popular thermal spa destinations.
