The St. Regis Hotels & Resorts has opened The St. Regis Belgrade, marking the brand’s first property in Serbia. This new addition to the brand’s portfolio is located in a prime spot in Belgrade, where the Sava and Danube rivers meet, providing easy access to the city’s historical sites, business districts, and diplomatic areas.
The hotel is part of a significant urban development project, developed by Eagle Hills and designed by the internationally recognized architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM). The building stands as a 42-story tower, with a glass exterior that complements the city’s blend of contemporary and historical architecture.
Inside, The St. Regis Belgrade combines modern design with local influences, offering a refined aesthetic that reflects the city’s heritage. The interiors feature a palette of soft earth tones and blues, with traditional Serbian elements incorporated into the decor. The hotel has 119 guest rooms, including 17 suites and a 192-square-meter Presidential Suite, which offers panoramic views of the city. The hotel also features the Caroline Astor Suite, which includes a collection of luxury sleepwear designed by Serbian fashion designer Aleksandar Zabunović, along with a marble tray designed by local artist Marko Desivojević.
“Sitting at the intersection of Western and Eastern Europe, the city of Belgrade has been shaped by centuries of history, featuring a unique and diverse range of architectural styles, from medieval fortresses to modern skyscrapers,” “The St. Regis Belgrade marries the historical patrimony and vibrant culture of the city with the timeless sophistication and unparalleled service of the brand, incorporating the true essence of the destination reinterpreted with a modern twist.” - Helen Leighton, Vice President Luxury Brands & Communications, EMEA, Marriott International.
The hotel’s dining options include Savant Brasserie and Rise Patisserie, which highlights Belgrade’s coffee culture and features the St. Regis Afternoon Tea Ritual. The St. Regis Bar offers a selection of Serbian wines and brandies, as well as international cocktails. A dedicated Wine Room is available for wine-tasting events and private dinners curated by the hotel’s Cellar Master.
For wellness and relaxation, The St. Regis Belgrade offers a full-service spa, including an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, and fitness center. The hotel’s 710-square-meter meeting space includes the Astor Ballroom, which features panoramic glass walls, as well as smaller rooms for more intimate gatherings. The John Jacob Astor Boardroom offers a sophisticated space for business meetings.
In line with the St. Regis tradition, the hotel offers several signature rituals such as Afternoon Tea, Evening Sabrage, and the Bloody Mary cocktail, which is uniquely infused with Serbian quince rakija.
