Small Luxury Hotels of the World unveils its brand-new Private Collection

Small Luxury Hotels of the World launches a new collection, comprising a curated selection of 76 private SLH villas and accommodations across 28 countries, alongside the debut of 13 newcomers.

These 76 handpicked SLH villas span Japan, Thailand, Australia, Europe, Africa, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and then some. The Private Collection offers the privacy of a standalone villa with all of the perks and services of a boutique hotel. This newly unveiled collection even caters to the digital nomad, who will now easily identify villa options via SLH that offer work-friendly amenities.

The launch of this new collection also marks the debut of of Salvatore Ferragamo’s newly opened Florentine countryside escape, Viesca Toscana, and the just-opened French beachside Château Le Nessay. In addition, , SLH also reveals 11 other boutique hotels to its portfolio.

Europe

Viesca Toscana is a countryside estate including a rural 16th century manor house with 14 rooms and suites and a family cottage tucked into the rolling hills of Tuscany. It also features villas that pair modern comforts with a peaceful oasis of private freshwater pools, gardens, complete with wellness offerings and authentic Italian cuisine created by Tuscan-born and bred chef Andrea Campani.

Le Nessay is a brand-new laid-back Breton retreat located on the Emerald Coast of France. As a member of the Private Collection, this 17-room clifftop château with a private cottage offers beaches, a luxury spa, and serves fresh oysters and other local seafare crafted into gourmet dishes by Chef Thomas Estrader.

Praia do Canal Nature Resort features 54 rooms overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and is situated on 220 hectares of surrounding wild nature hidden within Costa Vicentina Natural Park on Portugal’s southwest coast. Guests can enjoy the restaurant Azeitona, which offers a menu inspired by the products of the Atlantic and Vicentine coast, then unwind in the healing hammam and Finnish sauna via the Esteva Spa and Health Club.

Surrounded by meadows, valleys, and forests, HUBERTUS Mountain Refugio Allgäu welcomes guests in a Bavarian haven in Germany. The property features 66 artisanal-crafted rooms and suites, a rejuvenating Mountain Spring Spa, and a “slow food” kitchen which serves locally derived ingredients.

Not far from Budapest, BOTANIQ Castle of Tura is isolated by ten acres of lush gardens and an ancient forest. Originally built by a 19th-century baron for his wife, the romantic history of the 19-room castle is felt throughout the neo-baroque atmosphere of the estate. Guests can enjoy the luxury spa, take a gastronomic journey at the award-winning Clarisse, or visit the Botaniq bar.

Middle East

Turkey’s luxury fashion house is venturing into the hospitality industry with the October opening of Vakko Hotel & Residence. Located above its flagship store in the Nişantaşı neighbourhood on the European side of the city, the urban property offers 31 suites, in-room personal shopping, bespoke tailoring service, high-end spa, state-of-the-art gym, French cuisine at Vakko L’Atelier Bistro and other exclusive services and amenities.

Asia-Pacifica

The first-ever SLH property on the island of Langkawi, The Danna Langkawi is a colonial-Mediterranean inspired beachfront resort. It features beachfront villas, Peranakan cuisine, a three-tiered infinity pool overlooking the Andaman Sea, a luxury spa, a gym, a kids club, a library, and a billiard and games room.

Nanuku Resort is a Fijian beachfront oasis with pristine ocean views. It features private pools, villas, lush gardens, and the freshest ingredients caught directly from its waters. Nanuku offers a variety of island adventures that highlight the rich history and tradition of the Fijian culture.

With panoramic views of emountain ranges and the Lake Wakatipu below, The Carlin Hotel offers 12 rooms and suites spanning seven floors. All the suites feature rooftop spas and outdoor spaces, while Michelin-trained chefs, and world-class musicians complete the experience.

Housed within an iconic neo-classical heritage building, Hotel Telegraph opens its storied doors in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District as a luxury lifestyle property on September 28. The 134-room five-star architectural gem, originally known as the Eastern Extension Telegraph Company, played a key role in The Lion City’s progress as a global business hub, and as a hotel, will boast service, a rooftop pool with sky high city views, various gastronomic options and a cocktail bar.

Americas

Nestled in the heart of Mexico City's trendiest district, la Roma, La Valise Mexico City is a all-grown-up retreat within a 1920s French-style townhouse adorned with Mexican antiques. Watch projected movies and cosy up under the stars al fresco in a king-size rolling bed in the La Terraza suite, one of three standout palatial suites featured at this grown-up retreat.
