The Ruby Group is making its first foray into the Scandinavian market with the announcement of its inaugural project in Sweden.

Partnering with Alecta Fastigheter, Ruby is set to develop a 187-room hotel on the island of Kungsholmen in Stockholm. Scheduled for completion in spring 2026, this project marks a milestone for Ruby Hotels.

The upcoming hotel, repurposed from a former office space, will boast public areas on the ground floor, including a 24-hour bar and café. Additionally, there will be a rooftop restaurant, which will be managed by a third-party operator.

Situated near Fridhemsplan underground station, the hotel offers convenient access to public transportation.

The conversion of the former office building is being overseen by Alecta Fastigheter as project developer and investor, while the interior design will be led by Ruby's own team.
