Raffles Hotels & Resorts has announced the upcoming opening of Raffles Lake Como, scheduled for 2027. This new property, located in Moltrasio on the western shore of Lake Como, will offer a combination of modern luxury and the unique charm of Italian culture.

Restoration of a historic property

Raffles Lake Como will be set in the former Grand Hotel Imperiale, a 1920s Art Nouveau villa. The building will undergo a complete renovation, preserving its historic elements while incorporating contemporary features. The hotel’s prime location, with views of Lake Como and direct access to a private dock, provides guests with the opportunity to explore the lake and surrounding area.

Accommodation and services

The hotel will offer 84 guest rooms, including 18 suites and two villas, many of which will have lake views. Raffles’ butler service will be available to provide personalized attention to guests throughout their stay. In addition to the accommodation, Raffles Lake Como will feature two bars, the Long Bar and the Writers Bar, where guests can enjoy drinks in an elegant setting.

Wellness and dining

Raffles Lake Como will include wellness facilities such as both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa, gardens, a fitness center, and a beach club. Guests will be able to enjoy meals at the hotel’s restaurants, offering a selection of dishes with views of the lake. The combination of modern amenities and the picturesque location will create a relaxing environment for visitors.

Events and meetings

The hotel will also provide space for events, including weddings and business gatherings, with two large ballrooms and several meeting rooms available. Its location and facilities make Raffles Lake Como a suitable venue for both private and corporate functions.

Expanding Raffles’ European presence

Raffles Lake Como will be the fifth hotel for the brand in Europe, joining other locations such as Raffles London at The OWO, Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, and Raffles Istanbul. The new property will contribute to Raffles’ expansion in key luxury destinations around the world.
