Radisson Hotel Group enjoyed a record growth year in the country with four signings and three openings to date in 2022. The group’s Greek portfolio now stands at seven hotels and resorts with more than 800 rooms in operation or under development.

Over the course of the current year, Radisson has notably signed two hotels in Athens and opened two resorts in the Greek islands. It has also succeeded in introducing several of its brands to the European destination for the first time.

The first Radisson RED upscale lifestyle property will open in Greece in the second half of 2023. Radisson RED Mitropoleos Square Athens will feature 100 rooms, 150 m² of meeting space, a fitness area, an all-day restaurant, and a rooftop bar and restaurant.

The second Athenian hotel will open in November 2022. The Social Kolonaki Athens Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals, will offer 24 guestrooms and suites across seven floors. Located on Voukourestiou Street, the lifestyle destination will also include a restaurant and bar area, a mezzanine breakfast area and private dining facilities.

The group has expanded its resort portfolio in Greece by adding Mykonos and Skiathos to its existing locations of Santorini and Crete. Radisson Blu Euphoria Resort, Mykonos opened in May, and boasts 34 rooms and suites offering views over the bay and the Aegean Sea. The resort’s grand Euphoria Suite is complete with a spacious terrace and a private pool.

Radisson Resort Plaza Skiathos opened its doors in July by Kanapitsa beach. It contains 84 rooms and suites offering views over the sea or the resort’s pool. An on-site Orthodox chapel is also available to host weddings.
